If items are both delivered and invoiced simultaneously, you can initiate a delivery directly from within the Sales Invoice itself. The Sales Invoice features a field named “Update Stock,” positioned just before the Item table. When this option is selected, upon finalizing the Sales Invoice, the stock levels of the items will be automatically adjusted, reflecting a deduction from the chosen Warehouse.

By enabling the Update Stock option, additional fields pertinent to inventory management—such as Warehouse, Serial Number, Batch Number, and Item valuation—are made available for each item listed in the Sales Invoice.

Upon submission of the Sales Invoice, the system will carry out both general ledger posting and stock ledger posting concurrently, ensuring accurate accounting and inventory tracking.
