Plaid Integration

BizCentric provides the option to sync your bank accounts using a service named Plaid. Please refer to the Plaid FAQ to confirm if your country is supported.

If your instance is linked with Plaid, you can effortlessly synchronize your bank account transactions, eliminating the need for manual importation of CSV or XLSX files.

Settings

In order to give BizCentric access to Plaid, you need to add the following three parameters to your site_config.json file.

  • plaid_env
  • plaid_public_key
  • plaid_secret

Activation

To enable Plaid for an instance, click on the “Enable” button within the Plaid Settings DocType.

Upon activation, you’ll be able to create a new account directly from the Bank Reconciliation dashboard.

Bank account creation

To connect one of your current bank accounts to BizCentric, select “Link a new bank account” and adhere to the steps provided by Plaid.

Bank synchronization

To synchronize a bank account with BizCentric, choose an account and click on the “Action” button, then select “Synchronize this account.”

The synchronization process relies on the “Last integration date” recorded in the “Bank Account” doctype.

Should you wish to repeat a synchronization for any reason, you can modify this date and initiate the synchronization again. As each bank transaction is associated with a unique transaction ID, the synchronization process will only incorporate new transactions incrementally.

Automatic Synchronization

You can allow plaid to synchronize your bank account with BizCentric every hour by selecting “Synchronize all accounts every hour” in Plaid Settings.
