Additional Salary

Additional Salary refers to supplemental compensation received by an Employee from their employer, apart from their regular pay.

BizCentric HR provides a functionality known as Additional Salary, enabling the inclusion or deduction of ad hoc salary adjustments for specific Employees during the Payroll processing. Examples of Additional Salary may include Performance Bonuses, Deputation Allowances, Arrears, Incentives, or other discretionary adjustments.

Before creating an Additional Salary, it is advisable to create the following:

2. How to create an Additional Salary

  1. Go to the Additional Salary list, click on New.
  2. Select Employee.
  3. Select Salary Component.
  4. Enter the Amount.
  5. Enter the Payroll Date. If Payroll Date for Additional Salary is in the interval when the salary is processed, it will be added to the earnings/deduction.
  6. Save and Submit.

Choose the ‘Overwrite Salary Structure Amount‘ checkbox to replace the Additional Salary component with the amount specified in the Salary Structure. Moreover, you can tick the ‘Deduct Full Tax on Selected Payroll Date‘ checkbox if full tax deduction is necessary for the Additional Salary component on that specific payroll date.

 

3.Features

3.1 Recurring Additional Salary

This functionality enables users to establish a recurring Additional Salary within a specified timeframe. Upon checking ‘Is Recurring’, users are prompted to input both ‘To Date’ and ‘From Date’. This ensures that the designated additional salary amount is either added or deducted for the employee within the specified date range, reflecting the adjustment in the employee’s Salary Slip. The Additional Salary will recur monthly between the ‘From Date’ and ‘To Date’ interval.
