Blog Post

A Blog Post is an article on your website.

Blogs offer an excellent platform to express your thoughts and insights about your business, serving as a means to keep your customers and readers informed about relevant news and updates.

In today’s digital era, writing holds considerable importance, as visitors to your website often seek to learn more about your business and products through engaging content.

To access the Blog Post, go to: > Home > Website > Blog > Blog Post

1. How to create a Blog Post

  1. Navigate to the Blog Post list and select New.
  2. Provide the Title, Blog Category, Blogger, and Content.
  3. Activate the Published option and click Save.

The Blog Intro serves as a brief description of your blog, appearing immediately after the title and before the content.

You can compose your blog using Rich Text, Markdown, or HTML. For simple content pages, Rich Text and Markdown are recommended options. Learn how to attach images to your blog here.

Preview your Blog Post by clicking on See on Website in the sidebar.

If desired, select the disabled Comments option to prevent readers from adding comments to the current blog post.

2. Features

2.1 Blogger

Blogger is a user who can post blogs. To create a Blogger, go to:

Home > Website > Blog > Blogger.

You can mention a short bio about the blogger and also set an avatar here.

The preview will be shown at the end of the blog post.

2.2 Blog Category

You can group your blogs into categories. To create a new Blog Category, go to:

Home > Website > Blog > Blog Category.

If you click on See on Website in the sidebar, you’ll be redirected to a list of blogs under that category.

2.3 Meta Tags

Meta tags are HTML tags that provide information about a webpage and its content to search engines or social media platforms. Among these tags, a meta description offers a concise overview of a webpage.

Within the SEO section, you can input the meta description and image for your blog post. BizCentric will then generate a preview of the blog when it appears as a search result on Google.

If you opt not to fill out this section, the blog introduction or the first 140 characters of the blog will be used as the meta description. Similarly, if the meta image field is left empty, the first image in the blog will be automatically selected.

Upon submitting the blog, you can also preview how it will appear when shared on social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter. To do so, utilize the debugging tools provided by these platforms.

  • Facebook: Sharing Debugger
  • Twitter: Card Validator
  • LinkedIn: Post Inspector

To check the post preview, simply enter the webpage/blog link in the tool:

Using these tools, you can optimize your blog post for sharing.
