As the BOM (Bill of Materials) for an item often undergoes modifications over time, any adjustments require the cancellation of the existing BOM, followed by amendments to make the necessary changes and create a new version of the BOM. Consequently, you end up with two distinct BOMs, resulting in the loss of change history.

With the BOM Comparison Tool, you can effectively compare these two BOMs and discern the differences between them.

1. How to use the BOM Comparison Tool

1. Select the old BOM against which you want to compare in BOM 1 field.
2. Select the new BOM of which you want to see the changes in BOM 2 field.
3. The changes will be shown as soon as you select both the values.
