CRM Settings

In the CRM Settings, you can establish properties, configurations, and validations that will be implemented across the master’s and involved in the pre-sales process.

To access CRM Settings, go to:

Home > CRM > Settings > CRM Settings

Lead

1. Allow Lead Duplication based on Emails

If this option is activated, users will be permitted to simultaneously create multiple leads using the same email address.

2. Create Event on Next Contact Date

The system will automatically generate an event document for the upcoming contact date of the Lead.

3. Auto Creation of Contact

Upon the creation of a Lead, the system will automatically generate a Contact document, which will be linked to the newly created lead.

Opportunity

1. Close Replied Opportunity After Days

If numerous Opportunities have statuses other than Open, they will automatically be closed after the specified number of days in this field.

2. Create Event on Next Contact Date

The system will auto-create an event doc for the next contact date of the Opportunity.

Quotation

1. Default Quotation Validity Days

The validity period of quotations for customers is limited to a specific number of days. Within the Quotation, you have the option to manually update the Valid till Date. By default, the system automatically sets the Valid Till date to 30 days from the Quotation’s Posting Date. You can adjust the number of days in this field according to your business requirements.

Other Settings

1. Campaign Naming By

Similar to configuring the naming convention for Customers, you can also set up the naming approach for the Campaign master. By default, a campaign will be stored with its Campaign Name.

2. Contract Naming By

Similar to setting up the naming convention for Campaigns, you can also configure the naming method for the Contract master. By default, a contract will be saved with the Party Name.

3. Carry Forward Communication and Comments

When this option is activated, the system will automatically duplicate the emails and comments from the source document when converting a Lead into an Opportunity and an Opportunity into a Quotation.
