Customizing Module Visibility
BizCentric serves as a versatile system suitable for various businesses across different scales, including manufacturing, education, and retail. These businesses have greatly benefited from the system’s user-friendly interface and functionalities.
To cater to the diverse needs of business owners, the system’s usability for different industries is organized into distinct “Modules,” each represented as a “Card” on the dashboard. Additionally, core modules such as Human Resources, Accounting, and CRM are also featured as separate cards on the dashboard.
Every BizCentric user has the flexibility to customize the visibility of different modules based on their specific business requirements.
It’s important to note that modules are automatically hidden for users who lack permissions on the documents within that module. For instance, if a user lacks permissions on Purchase Orders, Purchase Requests, and Suppliers, the “Buying” module will be automatically hidden for that user.
In case a user possesses permissions for a specific module but cannot see it, several reasons could account for this:
Consider a scenario where a user has permission for the Website module but cannot access it.
Firstly, ensure that the user is assigned the “Website Manager” role, which is a standard role granting permission for the Website module. If permissions have been customized in your account, review the Role Permission Manager to determine which role has permission for the Website and verify if the same role is assigned to the user.
Additionally, check if the required module has been enabled for the user under the settings section, specifically under “Allow Modules.”
After making any necessary adjustments, reload the tab of your BizCentric account for the changes to take effect and become visible within the system.
