Delayed Tasks Summary
The Delayed Tasks Summary report assists in identifying tasks that have surpassed their Expected End Dates.
To view this report, you can go to:
Home > Projects > Reports > Delayed Tasks Summary
The report is generated based on the Task Doctype.
Calculation of Delay
Tasks feature a date field labeled ‘Completed On,’ which becomes visible once the task status is changed to Completed.
Scenario 1
When a task is designated as Completed and the ‘Completed On’ field is set, the delay is determined by calculating the difference between the ‘Completed On’ date and the ‘Expected End Date’.
Delay = Completed On - Expected End Date
Scenario 2
If the ‘Completed On’ field is left unset, then the delay is computed as the difference between the current date and the ‘Expected End Date’.
Delay = Current Date - Expected End Date
Chart
The chart illustrates the quantity of tasks categorized as either On Track or Delayed, as depicted in the generated report after applying the filters.
