The Donor Type document enables the creation of distinct Donor Profiles for donors.

Donor Types serve as fundamental components for donor and contribution management. Organizations typically establish a donor type for each different type of donation they receive. For instance, an organization might define three donation types for ‘regular’, ‘Organization’, and ‘honorary’ donors.

To create new donor Type go to:

> Non Profit > Donor Type > New

Donor Type: The Donor Type is visible across the system, appearing on both public and backend pages. Therefore, it’s important to carefully consider a donor type name that is suitable for both audiences. Remember, it can be modified at a later time if needed.
