Employee Skill Map

The Employee Skill Map is a comprehensive record used by your organization to monitor employees’ skill sets and training activities.

It enables rating of each employee skill and facilitates tracking their development following internal training sessions. This information proves valuable during appraisal periods.

To record an Employee Skill Map, go to:

Home > Human Resource > Employee Lifecycle > Employee Skill Map

Make sure you have set the required Skills for designations from the Skill doctype.

1. How to create an Employee Skill Map

  1. Go to the Employee Skill Map list, click on New.
  2. Select the Employee.
  3. Based on the designation of the Employee system will pull the Skills. Set the Proficiency level out of 5, and the Evaluation Date.
  4. If the Employee is lacking in any skill, you can schedule trainings for the Employee.
  5. Under the Trainings table, select the Training Event and the Training Date.
  6. Save.
