Freeze Exchange Rate
In BizCentric, you have the option to access real-time exchange rates between currencies or save specific exchange rates. Saved exchange rates in BizCentric are also known as Stale Exchange Rates.
If the Currency Exchange Rate field in your sales and purchase transactions appears frozen, it’s likely due to the feature that allows the use of stale exchange rates being enabled. If you wish to regain the ability to edit the Currency Exchange Rate field, follow these steps:
- Disable the Stale Exchange Rate feature by navigating to: Accounting > Accounting Masters > Account Settings
- Uncheck the “Allow Stale Exchange Rates” field.
- Save the Account Settings.
- Refresh your BizCentric account.
- Check your sales and purchase transactions once again.
After making this adjustment, the Exchange Rate field in transactions should be editable once more.
