Permission Error Problems

Question: User has roles like Account User and Account Manager assigned. Still, when accessing Account Receivable report, User is getting an error message of no permission the territory master.

Answer:

According to the permission system in BizCentric, in order for a user to access a form or a report, they must have at least read permission on all the linked fields in that form or report. Since “Territory” is a linked field in the Account Receivable report, it’s necessary to add a permission rule to grant Account User/Manager at least read permission on the Territory master. To address this issue, please follow the steps outlined below:

The roles assigned to the user are Account User and Account Manager.

As indicated in the error message, the user did not have permission on the Territory master. By default, none of the roles assigned to that user have any permission on the Territory master.

To resolve this issue, I have granted Account User permission to read the Territory master.

With this permission update, the user should now be able to access the Account Receivable report without any issues.
