Setting up Stripe

To setup Stripe, Explore > Integrations > Stripe Settings

Setup Stripe

To activate the Stripe payment service, you’ll need to set up parameters such as the Publishable Key and Secret Key.

Once the service is enabled, the system will generate a Payment Gateway record and establish an Account head in the Chart of Accounts with the account type designated as Bank.

Additionally, it will create a Payment Gateway Account entry. This serves as a configuration hub where you can set the account head from the existing COA and establish the default Payment Request email body template.

After configuring the Payment Gateway Account, your system will be capable of accepting online payments.

Setup subscriptions plans

If you require billing for a recurring amount rather than a one-time charge, you can utilize Stripe’s subscription system.

Once you’ve established your billing plans in Stripe, proceed to add one or more new “Payment Plans” in BizCentric.

Subsequently, when generating your payment request, select the checkbox labeled “Is a subscription” and the system will retrieve the relevant subscription plans associated with it.

BizCentric will then automatically generate a new subscription for this customer within Stripe.
