Shareholder
A Shareholder is someone who owns shares of a Company.
A shareholder is an individual, entity, or organization that possesses at least one share of a company’s stock. As owners of the company, shareholders benefit from the company’s successes through increased stock value. Conversely, if the company performs poorly, shareholders may experience financial losses if the stock price decreases.
The profits or losses generated by a company ultimately belong to its shareholders, making them a liability to the company.
BizCentric provides tools to monitor all shareholders and manage activities such as share transfers, share ledger maintenance, and tracking of share balances. Each shareholder is identified uniquely by a Shareholder ID, typically starting with ‘ACC-SH-‘. Additionally, once a shareholder conducts any transaction, a unique folio number is assigned to them.
To access the Shareholder list, go to:
Home > Accounting > Share Management > Shareholder
