Staffing Plan

The Staffing Plan feature assists in forecasting the required workforce for your company.

Within BizCentric HR, this function operates at a company-wide level, facilitating effective planning and budgeting for new hires over a specified period. Job Openings can only be generated based on the available vacancies and budget outlined in the active Staffing Plan.

1. Prerequisites

Before creating a Staffing Plan, it is necessary you create the following:

2. How to create a Staffing Plan

  1. Go to Staffing Plan list, click on New.
  2. Enter the Name, From and To Date and select the Department for which you want to create the Staffing Plan.
  3. Enter the Staffing Plan Details such as Designation, Vacancies, Estimated Cost Per Position, Total Estimated Cost and Number of Positions.
  4. Save and Submit.

Here are some additional features of the Staffing Plan document explained:

  1. Designation: Specifies the designations for which the Staffing Plan is created.
  2. Number of Positions: Indicates the intended number of positions to be recruited for within the defined From and To Dates of the Staffing Plan.
  3. Current Count: Reflects the current number of employees already hired for the specific designation.
  4. Vacancies: Displays the number of open positions based on the intended recruitment and the current employee count.
  5. Estimated Cost Per Position: Allows you to define the anticipated cost per position, aiding hiring officials in adhering to the budget.
  6. Total Estimated Budget: Upon completion of the recruitment plan for all designations, the Staffing Plan calculates the total estimated budget according to the plan.
