Stock Level Report
The Stock Level report displays the quantity of stock items available in a specific warehouse.
Various reports are accessible for reviewing the stock levels of items.
Stock Projected Quantity Report
You can access this report from Stock > Main Report > Stock Projected Quantity
This report presents the stock levels of items in each warehouse, considering all stock transactions. It includes various details such as:
- Actual Qty: The current quantity available in the warehouse.
- Planned Qty: Quantity for which a work order has been initiated but is pending manufacturing.
- Requested Qty: Quantity requested for purchase but not yet ordered.
- Ordered Qty: Quantity ordered for purchase but not yet received.
- Reserved Qty: Quantity ordered for sale but not yet delivered.
- Projected Qty: The projected inventory is calculated as follows: Projected Qty = Actual Qty + Planned Qty + Requested Qty + Ordered Qty – Reserved Qty
The projected inventory assists the planning system in monitoring reorder points and determining reorder quantities. It also helps in managing safety stock levels to address unexpected demands.
Maintaining accurate control over projected inventory is vital for identifying shortages and determining the appropriate order quantity.
