Using Auto Attendance

Our system offers the capability to Automatically Mark Attendance based on Employee Check-in records. Here are some key points to keep in mind:

A. Creating or importing Employee Check-in:

  1. Ensure the time is set accurately for the log types IN and OUT.
    • For IN, the time should be greater than the Shift Type Start Time – Begin check-in before the shift time.
    • For OUT, the time should be less than the Shift Type End Time + Allow check-out after the shift end time. This ensures proper mapping of the shift and validates your Check-in.

B. Verify your shift type settings:

  1. Set “Process Attendance After” (Attendance will be marked only after this date).
  2. Set “Last Sync of Check-in” (This indicates the time before which all Check-in will be considered. Note: If it’s less than the shifting end time, it won’t consider that day’s check-in as the shift is still ongoing).

C. Click on “Mark Auto Attendance” to verify if the feature is operational.

Note: Our scheduler will run the process to mark attendance automatically every hour. However, after uploading or creating check-ins, it’s essential to review your “Process Attendance After” and “Last Sync of Check-in” settings in the Shift Type section.
